Chongqing skyline - China - Philippe Lejeanvre Photography

Chongqing is a megacity, the largest city proper in the world, located in south-west China with the Yangtze river crossing it. The city is located 300 kms south-east Chengdu and both cities are now connected with economic partnerships and transportation projects. Chongqing skyline is amazing, one of the best in China in my opinion. With so many skyscrapers and bridges in a mountainous area, this situation accentuates the visual impression of very high skyscrapers. There is one difficulty for photography though, the city is often very foggy, very bothering in daylight but acceptable at night with the lights of the city.
