Daci buddhist temple in Chengdu

Daci buddhist temple is in the center of downtown Chengdu. It’s located next to IFS (International Financial Square) and the luxury commercial area Taikooli. It’s a little weird for this tranquil and calm place to be in the middle of this very busy neighbourhood and the contrast between architecture and lifestyle is huge, even if Taikooli keep a low modern type of architecture contrary to IFS. So if you are looking for a few moments of calm during your visit in downtown Chengdu, go have some tea in the ancient tearoom of the temple.
