Jiutian tower in Tazishan park – Chengdu

Jiutian tower, also called “Nine Heaven Tower” is located in the east part of Chengdu city in Tazishan park, you can’t miss it if you arrive in Chengdu by car from the east as it’s along a major urban road and highway from Chongqing which leads to the center of the city. It’s a traditional Chinese pagoda of 70 meters high and 13 layers. Now it’s illuminated only for special occasions like national holidays. But even when the tower is dark, the view of its silhouette against skyscrapers can be visually interesting.
