Once a year, around the winter solstice, the sun rises in the axis of ZongFulu, a major central avenue in Chengdu near Chunxilu and Taikooli. The difficult part actually is to be able to see the sun because the is a lot of fog during these days in the city… Theses photos were taken on 3 different times with more unsuccessful tries when I came back without any shot. I used my long lens, a Sigma 150-600mm to give the sun a relative big size compared to the surroundings.
