As autumn paints the world in warm hues, there’s a certain magic in capturing portraits amidst the golden beauty of nature. Our recent portrait session led us to Shuangliu in the southern part of Chengdu, where we had the privilege of working with Liniaoxin, a young Chinese woman and a traditional painting teacher. Against the backdrop of the city’s vibrant autumn transformation, we embarked on a journey to freeze moments of grace and elegance.

Autumn in Chengdu brings with it a breathtaking transformation as ginkgo trees blanket the city with golden leaves. This natural spectacle usually graces Chengdu during the first weeks of December. The streets and parks become a canvas painted with vibrant shades of yellow and gold, a sight that can truly take your breath away.

Our model, Liniaoxin, embodies a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity. As a traditional painting teacher, she exudes an aura of grace and artistic expression. Her choice to pose amidst the ginkgo leaves not only highlighted her natural beauty but also represented a harmonious fusion of classical and contemporary elements.
